This text describes our modular concept for Drve engineering of objects.
Drive Units can drive hanging or standing objects of different weight classes.
Normally a Drive Unit puts an object to a constant slow rotation.
The power supply of the driving motor is done by a wall power supply.
The optional solar panel unit may substitute the wall power supply.
The optional controller unit is required, whenever the drive should rotate in
programmable intervals, also with alternating direction of rotation, or
whenever the drive should be affected by an optional movement sensor and/or
by an optional light sensor.
The controller unit contains its own power supply, so the wall power supply
will be omitted.
The optional solar panel unit can be used for the controller unit with some
constraints. (...)
Using an optional movement sensor you can configure the controller unit so: |
Drive starts, if a person appears (distance adjustable) |
and stops after an adjustable time (t1) and/or |
restarts, if the person disappears |
and restops after an adjustable time (t2). |
Using an optional light sensor you can configure the controller unit so: |
Drive starts, if |
the illumination is getting lighter as a adjustable level |
or |
Drive starts, if |
the illumination is getting darker as a adjustable level. |
Additional an external light source (230VAC, max. x00 W) can be supplied by
the controller unit via a power plug.
It is switched on and off synchronously with the drive and/or may generate
Stroboscope effects or smooth light variations.
If a light sensor and an external light source are used, please care for
the light source not affects the light sensor.
Various combinations are possible:
1 | Drive Unit with wall power supply |
2. | Drive Unit with solar drive |
3a. | Drive Unit with controller unit |
4a. | Drive Unit with controller unit and movement sensor |
5a. | Drive Unit with controller unit and light sensor |
6a. | Drive Unit with controller unit, movement sensor and light sensor |
3b. | Drive Unit with solar drive and controller unit |
4b. | Drive Unit with solar drive, controller unit, and movement sensor |
5b. | Drive Unit with solar drive, controller unit, and light sensor |
6b. | Drive Unit with solar drive, controller unit, movement sensor, and light sensor |
7 | Drive Unit with controller unit, 2 position switches, and movement sensor (Rotomax) |
The Control Unit is available for four different output ratings |
Rating 1 : see 10.1.1 und 10.2.1 (Price List) |
Rating 2 : see 10.1.2 und 10.2.2 (Price List) |
Rating 3 : see 10.1.3 und 10.2.3 (Price List) |
Rating 4 : Rotomax |
For savety reasons : Driver motors always were supplied by 0 .. 12 VDC.
Some objects mandatory will be shipped with a Drive Unit:
Rotomax (7.1, 7.2) |
- (Much power!, variable high revolution) |
- always controller unit with position switch inputs and movement sensor required |
Running Knot (7.3) |
- (less power, variable? middle revolution) |
- always controller unit with movement sensor required |
Double helix (2.3) |
- (less power, low revolution) |
- Endurance run, but controller unit with more features optional |
Miramirr (7.4.2, 7.4.3) |
- The controller unit drives a DC-Motor, which drives a pump, which |
- alternating generates high presure and low pressure. |
